Salvage of the LB 1 Bucket-wheel Dredger, 2002
The sea-going bucket-wheel dredger was stranded off Gönyű in 2002. Our aim was to make the vessel seaworthy again. This was a major challenge even for the Adam Clark crane vessel, as the structure was very heavy. The majority of the work was carried out by our industrial divers who, with the help of pumps, air compressors and, of course, the power of the Clark, lightened the enormous weight to get the machine back on the surface.
